Scott Cole

Scott Cole is originally from Rockford, IL and now lives in Norman Park, GA. Scott plays lead guitar for Soulshine. He also sings, plays drums, bass, and acoustic guitar. He was voted #1 lead guitarist in South Georgia & North Florida by GA/FL Band Critic in 2007. Scott is a 5th generation guitarist and he began strumming the guitar at 6 years old. When he was 8, his dad taught him some chords and he had been playing ever since. Scott was influenced by Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Ted Nugent, B. B. King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Vince Gill, George Benson, Chet Atkins, and Duane Allman. Scott has learned many genres of music. So many that he can play with anyone and had been known to practice up to 10 hours a day. Before Soulshine, Scott played with The Todd Williams Band, Ryan West Band, Wildcard, and Nightshift.
